Virtual Makeover

So today I decided to try some new make-up looks in preparation for my birthday this weekend. I don’t have an outfit decided on yet (a little peruse on ASOS.com later should help with that) so I wanted to experiment with colours and cover all corners.  Now the downside of experimental make-overs is the waste of perfectly good drops of our best make-up (MAC isn’t cheap) and all hail the heavens opened and the ever reliable topshop.com have answered our prayers…

This great little application allows you to upload your own photo and in 4 to 5 easy steps you’ve got yourself a new look. What I find particularly great is how realistic the looks are. There is a real attention to detail on the textures of the make-up and while the eyelashes are a little O.T.T and slightly pixelated on screen when you save the image it renders them to look lash-tastic!
